Gratitudes:
1. I'm grateful for the new weed-eater gifted to me.
2. I'm grateful for another new day full of sunshine.
3. I'm grateful my washing machine is still working.
Plan for the day:
1. More paper decluttering. (My nemisis.)
2. Read and transcribe a journal.
3. Create something artistic.
Currently reading:
1. Kindle: The Tidewater Sisters novella
2. Audio: I'm about to finish Boys in the Boat
3. Driving Miss Norma
It is one of those mornings where I feel like I need to write something but I have no idea what I want to write. At times like this I will close my eyes and wait for an inspiration to come, and it does. the world is full of ideas and I've had plenty of them, which is why it is somewhat intimidating to come to a moment when ideas are scarce, or nonexistent!
I have a journal project. Earlier in life I wrote a lot in journals... paper journals. Usually they were cheap notebooks bought at the grocery store. I have a large box full of these journals and I'd like to transcribe them into ascii and eventually get them published. thing is, there's a lot more there than I expected! What a chore! But one page at a time, it can be done.
Yesterday while attacking my pile of paper clutter I came across a cloth bag with some of these journals inside. Now the journals are stacked on the shelf next to me and the cloth bag is in the washing machine. I'd like to get restarted on this journal project this afternoon. There's nothing better for me to do.
Heavenly Father, thank you for another beautiful day and for the generosity of people who brought me a nice new gas powered weed-eater this morning. Bless them, Lord, and reward them for their generosity I pray. So many generous people have donated so much since that fire. I'm truly humbled. Thank you for the increase and the blessings. Guide me Lord to bless others, and to give them what they need in Your name. Help me remember that whatever I do is to be done in Your name. Guide me in that Way I pray. Thank You Holy Spirit for teaching me from within. I need You every day. Bless my efforts and inspire me to do more on days when I'm not making enough effort. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen!
