Gratitudes:
1. I'm grateful for a peaceful place to sit in the morning to read the Word of God and write in this blog. (And other things.)
2. I'm grateful for the visit I had with A. yesterday morning.
3. I'm grateful for my pens and pencils - of which I've collected more than a few.
Plan for the day:
1. Read more of Galatians in the Inductive Study Bible.
2. Catch up on writing in my Prayerful Planner.
3. Go out to the compost bin for maintenance.
Currently reading:
1. Driving Miss Norma - nearing the end of the book. Maybe just a few more days of reading with that, then I'm loaning it to a friend.
2. Evelina audio/Kindle classic novel - I'm now in book 2 out of 3.
3. How to Write Like a Writer by Thomas C. Foster - I have a Kindle copy. I'm hoping this will help re-inspire and re-motivate me for writing.
Topic for today - HOPE... I hope to write more. My image (above) says HOPE for the future. I woke up this morning with hope on my mind. First thing in the morning! I realized I have lost HOPE... for almost anything, except that HOPE which God gives me, knowing He has a good future planned for me, and a place in His kingdom I can look forward to going to someday. But as for hope for a house to live in, or staying on my property long term, that's feeling shaky right now. I have not had my last hope dashed in this matter, but I'm not feeling fully confident either. Hope is a tenuous thing. I thank God for my relationship with Jesus and the Holy Spirit as they give me something to cling to when days seem dark and without much hope. Yes, this works for me, and I'm grateful.
