Heat is getting to me. 97 degrees outside right now - well, that's not too bad, really. Life goes on. I need a nap. Linda at 70 has much less energy than what I was formerly used to, though I'd say, I've never been a high energy kind of person. I normally get only about 5 hours sleep at night and then make up for it with a nap. Today I chopped away at bushes, wildflowers, weeds and a tree, trying to make more room for walking. Also made an order from Walmart online for spices and more. I'm going to make some of that fly repellent spray with bay leaves, cloves and white vinegar.

Here's a spray that's supposed to repel flies and mosquitoes... 1/2 cup white Vinegar, 2 tbsp cloves, 2 bay leaves, 1 cup water. Boil the cloves and bay leaves together for 10 minutes. Strain. Add vinegar to the water and put into a spray bottle. Apparently flies and mosquitos don't like this.
