Do Not Ride Your Skateboard Into Grandma's Flower Garden

1. Art lesson and practice. Watercolor and mixed media.
2. Trip into town for groceries and mail.
3. Dispose of more paper clutter.

The illustration today is from one of my sketchbooks, and I call it "Do Not Ride Your Skateboard Into Grandma's Flower Garden". The prompt that day was "lawbreaker" and this is the best I could come up with. I'd like to comment on the art technique. This is simple watercolor and ink. I set down the blue watercolor first, then the ink. It looks like I used a carbon ink pen. Then the yellow background watercolor. It was a fun technique and I'd like to experiment with it more.

Lord Almighty, You know how I love to paint and love to look at my little pictures. Please bless me Lord with a better place for painting. Maybe I'm asking too much - I don't know - but I ask anyway as it is my dream to have an art studio. Maybe Lord I could have that art studio in my van. I'd be grateful for that. Lord, guide me I pray and let me learn to do this. Let me have the opportunity to have someone build my van interior into an art studio. Lord, I'd do that if I had the creativity and strength and opportunity to figure it all out. Lord, I trust You that You can help me do this. You can strengthen me, give me inspiration, and help bring this into reality. Lord, give me what I need to make this happen if it is Your will. An art studio with a bed would be perfect - I think I'll still need to take naps. Bless me Lord, and guide me I pray. In Jesus name I pray. Amen!
