There have been fires in the Klamath River Valley during the past week and I'm happy to say that some very competent firefighters have done an outstanding job of controlling them. The fire nearest to me, the Yeti Fire, looks nearly out now. They caught it between the river and some dozer lines and I'm no longer feeling threatened.
With the threat gone, I can turn my mind to other things. I have decluttering on my mind. While I was packing for the forest fire evacuation warning I realized my life would be so much better without a file full of paper clutter so I turned that over onto my desk and now am staring at a mountain of paper I need to go through. I think a lot of that needs to be in the trash, and today seems like a good day to take care of the problem.
So I started thinking - there must be some articles on the internet about this so I googled, "why do I have a hard time dealing with paper clutter" . . . and here are a few articles about that.
1. How to Get Rid of Paper Clutter Once and For All
2. The Only Strategy That Works for Organizing Paper Clutter
My favorite method is to throw things away. When it comes to paper clutter my tendency is to accumulate and not toss, and I need to focus on making myself either file or toss when I bring paper into my home.
