Two Kinds of Sorrow

Sorrow. We've all felt it, right? One kind of sorrow builds us spiritually and the other type of sorrow leads to spiritual death. The difference is in repentance. What leads to repentance is humility. The opposite of humility is pride. A prideful, resentful attitude leads to spiritual death.

Bible verse of the day:

"For the kind of sorrow God wants us to experience leads us away from sin and results in salvation. There’s no regret for that kind of sorrow. But worldly sorrow, which lacks repentance, results in spiritual death."
- 2 Corinthians 7:10

― Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
