Dual timeline mystery with ghosts.
Like many other Christians I'm skeptical about ghosts, but for the purpose of reading and enjoying this book I accepted that it is FICTION and I do not have to figure out what the ghosts really were!
The main character in the 2017 timeline is Carly. She's gone to Fell, New York, to try to find out what happened to her aunt there in 1982.
The main character in the 1982 timeline is Viv. She is Carly's aunt. She disappeared while working at the Sun Down Motel as the overnight front desk clerk.
Great book. I listened to the audiobook version and recommend it.
